Very bad phone and even worse cust service
Bought a phone and died after 7 months.. customer service cannot tell me when they will get an update from tech team. They cannot give me a returns form. They dont have a manager to talk to. They want me to get it repaired. And for what! To get the same issue down the line knowing that my warranty will end soon. Just poor. Sooooo poor!!!! Cannot get straight answers. AVOID!!!!! They asked me to respect the process. But they do not respect the rights of the consumers. They want me to call them every day to follow up. i bought the phone in good faith. Use it everyday as you should.
But now that it dosnt even fire up, im just expected to sit tight with uncertainty. unbelievably appalling and I am shocked how motorola handles complaints.

Rubbish customer service
Bought a Motorola edge 20 Pro in may, when I received it, the usb port was faulty, so I sent it for repair, after nearly a month I got it back, but the usb port no longer charges the phone. I spoke to an agent at Motorola who said they needed to escalate to a manager. Over a month later I'm still waiting for a response, I contact them daily, only to be told 'we are working hard and will contact you as soon as possible'. I think maybe they don't have managers, and are just trying to fob me off. Terrible terrible service

Just so you know you have zero way of cancelling an order, over the weekend I ordered a phone on the Sunday, after looking at more reviews I realised it had a terrible camera, so I emailed to cancel, I did get contacted back by someone called Lara first thing Monday morning, she said she would have to contact someone higher up to cancel the order, 3 hours later I get an email stating the item has now been shipped,

Absolutely dreadful customer service
Absolutely dreadful customer service. I have been trying to return a phone to Motorola for almost 3 weeks (under distance selling regs). They seem to make it almost impossible to send the phone back. They arranged a collection for one day (no time window given) so I waited in all day and no-one turned up. Since then I have been trying to get a return address but they keep ignoring my requests. I am now planning to take legal action to get a refund, but they make it really difficult to find out what their contact addresses are and who to contact. I'll never buy from them again- they just don't seem to care about customers.

False advertisement, unacceptable support.
They sell mobile phones advertised as 5G but the option is not supported. For months promised that this future will be added in further updates but with no luck.
Their forum is full of complaints but these are being mostly removed. This affects most of the 5G phones including the one with 5G in the name.

Good phone, rip off repairs.
Bought a Moto G 5g plus. The phone itself is great.

Unfortunately you cannot replace a cracked screen without replacing the full LCD in any shop I rang (live near Central London).

Rang the customer service center for advice. All they would tell me is that I would need to send it to the repair center for 7-10 days for a quote. This quote would cost me £30, which is how much it costs for a lot of screens to be replaced. They couldn't recommend anywhere in London to get it fixed in a reasonable time.

Now I either pay £120 for a new LCD (the phone cost £200) or continue with a fully mosaic screen until I replace it in probably around a year.

Not pleased.

Edit: Just found that they also charge you to ring their customer service helpline, cost me £4.17 for just over 8 minutes.

Phone doesn't work…
The phone doesn't work and Vodaphone want 10 days to fix it. Never had one problem with Samsung in years and this lot wants to do this to a first-time Motorola customer. Ok! My advice would also to think twice about the advice given by Vodaphone resellers...thank you for standard and useless response - tell you what i am going to do, as i am a director of three compnaies and work with people on the phone and around the world all the time! I will buy another phone and let everyone kniow how utterly useless and rubbish your products are every day! i will be the best negative ambassador you could have ever wanted...well done!

I purchased a new phone from…
I purchased a new phone from Motorola/Lenovo phone. The second company I did not know was involved.I ordered a phone which I believe came from Holland. It took 6 days to come. They use Ups to deliver on express.Nothing about Motorola is express. You are given a delivery slot and when this come and goes nobody cares?. I tried to cancel but nobody replies?.I so reject going with this company.

28/04/22 Sara of Motorola has replied and kindly apologised for this and expressed her wish to improve things. My concern is that Trust Pilot is full of these types of reviews.Sara if you want to improve then make serious changes it is costing you serious amount of business.

Motorola Repair Centre - don't waste your money
Bought a Moto G6 Play in 2019. On/off button fell off within the first year even though I take care of the phone and used a protective case. This year my screen cracked outside of the warranty. To use their repair centre requires completing an online form giving information about model of phone etc and sending recorded delivery to Kent. Their repair centre informed the phone isn't reparable as it is 'beyond serviceable life' and charge £30 for this quotation/return of it.

Of course the phone screen is replaceable and repairable - I foolishly believed by sending to the official Motorola UK repair centre I would ensure the work was done well.

Given their repair centre consider this model 'beyond serviceable life', why does their website allow customers to send in for a repair quote at all?

I will avoid Motorola products going forward

Massive UPS delay and no help
UPS are holding my phone in a warehouse in Liecester; delivery is now 9 days overdue with no resolution. Whilst not directly Motorola's fault, they choose to use UPS and my contract is with them not UPS.

After having been totally ignored by UPS who basically shrug their shoulders, I contacted Motorola who seem to think customer support amounts to asking UPS for an update then congratulating themselves on a job well done; I'm perfectly capable of being ignored without Motorola's help.

Despite what seems to me to be a clear breach of contract, I've been told I can't have a refund until I return the phone, which I don't have because UPS won't deliver it. Effectively UPS have stolen my phone and Motorola have stolen my money.

Neither company seems interested in providing any information; I'm totally in the dark despite harrassing both daily and utterly frustrated with the whole experience.

This will be my last purchase from Motorola as long as they contract deliveries to UPS.

I ordered an e30.
I ordered an e30 for my husband and was informed it would be delivered by 31.3.22. When it was not received, I tracked it with UPS to find that it have been received in their Northampton branch on 29.3.31. Tried to phone to ask about delivery, with no joy, rang Motorola and had a conversation with a virtual assistant who said they could only say that the delivery date was ‘unknown’. At the end of the conversation I was informed that Motorola would be looking into the matter and would email me the result. On 3.4.22 I have still not had an email, money has been taken from my bank and I feel the company and their customer services are well below what I would have expected of a established company. Just wish I had read the reviews before placing my order.
